How to compress a video on iPhone

Tap Compress on the home screen and select videos, Live Photos or photos. The largest files are easy to spot.

Never bigger, never upscaled
Cuka never enlarges low-resolution originals and skips any item whose result would be larger than the original.

There's no set file size or count limit. Cuka checks free space, can pause and resume, and keeps finished results if the app is interrupted.
Compare before you keep

Frequently asked questions
Will compressing reduce video quality?
Compression trades some detail for size, which is why Cuka shows estimates first and lets you compare the result with the original on the same frame before you decide. High keeps the original resolution.
What happens to the original file?
After compression you choose which version to keep. The other one moves to Cuka Trash, where you can restore it until you empty the trash.
Can I compress videos on an SD card or drive?
Yes. Compression works the same way for your Photos library and for folders, SD cards and external drives, and Cuka checks the free space at the save location.
Why was one of my videos skipped?
If the compressed file would be larger than the original, Cuka skips it instead of wasting space. Low-resolution videos are never upscaled.
